Changing The Narrative

Changing The Narrative

It may be time to review, reinvent, reformulate, and rename. Things tend to become what you name them and how you think about them. When you redefine something in the positive, you take away the sting of the emotional pain. Many people carry around burdens from the past that make enjoying life difficult. If we change the story, we change the narrative.

Even though we cannot change what happened to us, we can see it through new eyes. We want to be gentle with ourselves. We want to lean into our strengths and our positive attributes. We need to be reminded about how strong and resilient we really are. We have a right to peace of mind and joy in our hearts. We have a right to walk with a spring in our steps.

“The measure of intelligence is the ability to change.”

Albert Einstein

I am not my experience.  That is only what happened to me. I am the observer of my experience!  I am the hidden self within.

“Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past.”

Isaiah 43:18
