Don’t Be Scared!

Don’t Be Scared!

The trees are showing us their fall colors as they change in preparation for the winter. Autumn is here and the leaves are beginning to fall. For thousands of years human beings have celebrated this wonderful season of change. The pumpkin patches are full and you can get a pumpkin spice latte just about anywhere. Fall symbolically represents the ending of a particular cycle. It is also a time when we celebrate Halloween. Have you ever wondered where the idea of Halloween came from? Why do children trick-or-treat? Is it a spiritual holiday? What does it have to do with ghosts and spirits?

“It’s said that All Hallows’ Eve is one of the nights when the veil between the worlds is thin and  whether you believe in such things or not, those roaming spirits probably believe in you, or at least acknowledge your existence, considering that it used to be their own. Even the air feels different on Halloween, autumn-crisp and bright.”
