Understanding is the ability to know, perceive, and apprehend. Thomas is the disciple that symbolizes understanding. He represents the ability to see beyond appearances into reality. To have understanding means to get at the core of something. The corresponding color is gold, and the location of this power is the front of the brain.
We need to develop this ability of understanding and awakening to bring peace and harmony to the world.
